| TIME | NAME | UPDATE | | 12:31pm | Morency, Vernand (RB, ) | Vernand Morency is OUT for the Packer's Week 9 game with a back injury. |
| 12:29pm | Rhodes, Dominic (RB, BUF) | Rhodes (back, questionable) is expected to play. |
| 12:28pm | Addai, Joseph (RB, IND) | Addai (wrist, questionable) is expected to play. |
| 12:21pm | Jackson, Darrell (WR, ) | Darrell Jackson (foot) was upgraded to probable this week. He should be good to go on Monday night. |
| 12:17pm | Givens, David (WR, ) | Updating a previous report, David Givens has been declared OUT for Week 9. |
| 12:15pm | Burress, Plaxico (WR, ) | Burress has been battling back spasms and they are bad enough to hold him OUT of the Giants' Week 9 game. This is too bad because Burress owners were probably pretty excited to get Plax in there against the Texans. Tim Carter will get a start alongside of Amani Toomer at wide receiver. |
| 12:09pm | Horn, Joe (WR, ) | Updating a previous report, Horn will be held OUT of Sunday's game. He will not play. |
| 12:06pm | Maroney, Laurence (RB, NE) | Maroney wasn't able to participate fully in practice on Friday, but it is expected that he will play. Actually, the match-up is so good that he may be worth a start even if he's not quite 100%. |
| 12:03pm | Stokley, Brandon (WR, DEN) | Stokely(knee) is not expected to return to the field in Week 9. |
| 12:02pm | Vinatieri, Adam (K, IND) | He's still lingering on the injury reports with a groin injury, but he's kicking for sure. Feel free to start him. |
| 12:01pm | Bell, Tatum (RB, ) | Bell is struggling with turf toe, which is a painful lingering condition that can devastate a player's ability to be productive. He's listed as probable and he'll get some touches, but we think he'll probably spend a lot of time watching teammate Mike Bell running the ball. The Steelers are tough to run on anyway, so it certainly seems like it's a good idea to keep Tatum on the bench in Week 9. |
| 11:58am | Northcutt, Dennis (WR, DET) | He's a gametime decision for today's late kick-off. You don't don't to hang your hopes on him anyway. Keep him on the bench. |
| 11:56am | Winslow, Kellen (TE, TB) | Winslow may never be 100% healthy, but so far this year, he's always good enough to go on gameday. He is officially questionable with a knee, but he'll start and play. |
| 11:54am | Davis, Vernon (TE, SF) | Vernon Davis came out of this year's NFL draft with such high expectations, but his season is getting slowly washed away by he broken leg. He is OUT again for Week 9. |
| 11:52am | Jones-Drew, Maurice (RB, JAX) | Jones-Drew (probable, thigh) will play his normal role. What's going on with minor thigh injuries with Jaguar backs? |
| 11:51am | Taylor, Fred (RB, NE) | Taylor (probable, thigh) will start and play his normal role. |
| 11:49am | Givens, David (WR, ) | David Givens (broken hand) is expected to be able to return to the field in Week 9. However, he has continued to be limited by his hand and may not even start this week. You would be wise to hold him out until he's back closer to 100%. |
| 11:44am | Horn, Joe (WR, ) | Horn is questionable with a groin injury. He practiced on Friday, but has been ruled out for Sunday. |
| 11:42am | Bush, Reggie (RB, NO) | Bush tweaked his ankle in Week 8. He is listed as questionable for Week 9, but he was able to practice on Friday and is expected to play. |
| 11:39am | Culpepper, Daunte (QB, DET) | Culpepper remains OUT for week 9, and recent rumblings say that he may end up missing the rest of the season. You may need to write-off your investment in Daunte. |
| 11:37am | Huard, Damon (QB, SF) | Huard will get another start for the Chiefs in Week 9, but his tenure as starting quarterback may soon be coming to an end. Trent Green said he would be ready to play in Week 10, and despite Huard's good play, Green is expected to take back the starter's job. |
| 11:34am | Jennings, Greg (WR, GB) | Jennings is listed as questionable with a ankle. He missed Week 8 because of this injury, but he was able to return to practice this week and is expected to play in Week 9. |
| 11:33am | Green, Ahman (RB, ) | Green (probable, knee) will play and makes for a nice start. |
| 11:32am | Heap, Todd (TE, BAL) | Heap began the week as questionable with a thigh injury, but he was upgraded to proable and will start. |
| 11:30am | Glenn, Terry (WR, ) | Glenn is struggling with a injured quad, but he is expected to start in Week 9 nonetheless. |
| 11:28am | Portis, Clinton (RB, WAS) | In week 7, before the bye, Portis injured his ankle and there was some speculation as to whether he would be able to play in week 9. As it turns out, he is only listed as probable, and is expected to play his normal role. |
| 11:25am | Moss, Santana (WR, WAS) | Moss is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury and actually ruled himself out for Week 9. He will not play. |
| 11:24am | Brunell, Mark (QB, NO) | Brunell and most of his offense were on the injury report this week. However, Brunell was able to practice on Friday and will start for the Redskins in Week 9. However, he will be without his top target, Santana Moss, so he makes a shaky fantasy start against the Cowboys. |
| 11:19am | Leftwich, Byron (QB, TB) | Leftwich will sit again in Week 9, although Coach Jack Del Rio insists that Leftwich will return to his position as the team's starting quarterback once he is healthy again. David Garrard will continue to start in his place. |
